Project Description:
The City of North Vancouver RCMP has engaged the IDEA students to help address two issues within the community:
- Pedestrian Safety
- Crossing at crosswalk and only when the indicator is on, NOT when the red hand or countdown is displayed
- Education on this topic is needed for all demographics and ages
- Would help with safety as well as traffic
- Business Link program
- Public education regarding the program and what it is/benefits
- Encouraging enrollment by businesses in CNV
