On December 7, 2021, we hosted CityStudio North Vancouver’s fifth HUBBUB project showcase online. It was an exciting interactive event opening with a Slow Media video “Icy Creek” by Gregory Coyes. The over 150 attendees were then invited to watch the Launch Session, a welcome video including addresses by Mayor Linda Buchanan, Capilano President Paul Dangerfield and project introductions by some of the term’s City partners and faculty. Attendees where then invited to explore the project showcase to discover the brilliant ideas that students developed in response to the term’s opportunity questions. We were joined by the talented Emma Richard who joined us for the event to then present her graphic artwork representing the themes, ideas and highlights of Hubbub #5. See her work at bottom of page.
We are so proud of the 17 student groups from Summer and Fall 2021 that represented their classes by pitching their creative ideas and sharing hopeful and inspiring projects.
The Panel of Judges:
