Project  Description:

Urban RePurpose is planning an event in Spring 2023 to engage the public on the benefits of re-using materials. Urban Re-Purpose is looking for help to excite the community about the event by drawing from the relevant sections of the DRAFT Climate and Environment Strategy. In addition to expanding the knowledge about the Re-purpose Event and Urban Repurpose in the community, the student’s will generate ideas for raising awareness amongst the public of the value and benefits of upcycling and reusing products locally as a means to address the causes of climate change while strengthening local resiliency by enabling quick adoption of adaptive solutions to address our changing climate using local physical materials and human capital.

The event will include information booths, artists and vendors as well as an art competition.
