Lower Lonsdale Loop

A path that will guide locals and visitors around points of interest in the Shipyards.


Our team’s designed an art piece that will pay homage to the history of the Shipyards as it has changed and grown along with the community. The design will create a path that will guide locals and visitors around points of interest such and points of interest such as art gallery shops and lookout points. The art work will drawn inspiration from the oceans surrounds as walkway the walk way will incorporate a wave pattern as well as luminescent paint that will light up the shipyards at night. During the day visitors will be able to see painting of 5 ships and 5 canoes that have historical background in the community. QR codes will be incorporated into the ship’s design.The codes can be used for community building activities. Future expansion can include a webpage that will provide information about the various ships depicted along the walkway and or augmented reality.
