What happens when students tackle city challenges [during a pandemic]?
This December, CityStudio North Vancouver is hosting our third HUBBUB: a celebratory showcase during which students, City staff, elected officials, faculty members and community members connect and learn about each-other’s work.
In April 2019, we adapted to the reality of the pandemic with a quick pivot to an online HUBBUB webinar. Building on our experience, we are preparing a soon-to-be legendary HUBBUB #3 on December 17th 2020 that combines the best features of digital events [attend from anywhere and for any amount of time] and the aspects of in-person events that we miss dearly [face-to-face conversations and serendipitous interactions]. The most innovative and exciting projects from each CityStudio course collaboration will be displayed, and you will be invited to navigate the virtual exhibit hall to meet our collaborators in real time. We can’t wait to see you there!
